CAPK hosts free produce farmers market

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Community Action Partnership of Kern County is hosting a free produce farmers market at the Kern County Fairgrounds on Saturday, Sept. 2. 

The CAPK is hosting the farmers market for low-income residents, to provide healthy, fresh produce at no cost to them CAPK Food Bank Agency Relations Supervisor Yazid Alawgarey said in a release.

The Free Produce Farmer's Market takes place at the Kern County Fair Grounds at Gate 30, on Belle Terrace near P Street from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. or until food runs out.
