FRAZIER PARK, Calif. - A big rig jackknifed on southbound Interstate 5 near Frazier Mountain Park Friday morning after losing control and making contact with a car. The California Highway Patrol says speed and the high winds played a role in the crash around 6:50 a.m.
The car hit the center divider and caught fire but the driver was okay. The driver of the big-rig is also okay.
CHP is working to clear the scene and traffic is moving slowly the area.
CHP is advising high-profile vehicles like semi's to avoid the Grapevine Friday morning. The number one and two lanes are closed southbound, number 3 and four lanes are open.
