BPD releases 911 call in deadly McKee Road shooting

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department have released a 911 call between a woman suspected of shooting the father of her children and a dispatcher.
 
BPD identified 49-year-old Michaele Bowers in the call which lasted less than 30 seconds. In the call Bowers told a dispatcher that she needed police and medical sent to her house because of an "altercation".
 
Bowers was booked into the Kern County jail on suspicion of murder on Wednesday, for shooting 51-year-old Raymond Ingram, who died at a residence at McKee Road.
