Family of missing man hire private investigator

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The family of a man who has been missing since August has hired a private investigator to find him.

David Boykin hasn't been seen since August 1. Bakersfield Police Department said Boykin is considered at-risk due to medical needs.

Boykin's mother is in Kern County from Washington State and is asking for help to find her 35-year-old son.

His family said he moved out of his Bakersfield residence and hasn't been heard from since. They're offering a $1,000 reward to help find him.
