BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Kern County Sheriff's homicide detectives are looking for two people in connection to a fatal stabbing that took place this morning in Southeast Bakersfield.
An unidentified man was stabbed at a home around 8:30 Friday morning, in the 6100 block of Sugarloaf Lane, according to KCSO.
Sheriff's department said the victim allegedly made entry into the home to confront his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend. During this confrontation, deputies determined the victim was stabbed at least once. KCSO said one other man was inside the home and he fled the scene with the current boyfriend.
They are both wanted for questioning by KCSO.
The two are not named as suspects, according to KCSO.
The victim was transported to Kern Medical where he was pronounced dead.
