Man killed in South Bakersfield shooting

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - UPDATE (Feb. 4): The coroner's office identified 26-year-old Brandon Edward Ellington of Bakersfield as the man shot and killed outside an internet café early Saturday morning.

Ellington died in the 5500 block of South Union Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

The Sheriff's Department says a man was shot to death outside an internet café just after 2 a.m. this morning. 

The man's identity has not been released.
