Court records: Accused baby killer claims someone hacked his Facebook account

Post read "How do you kill a baby in the hospital?" CPS found claim unfounded

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Newly released court documents reveal accused baby killer Daniel McKie says someone logged into his Facebook account in January while Anakin McKie was in the hospital and posted on his page, "How do you kill a baby in the hospital?"

The records state the baby's mother informed Child Protective Services, which responded with a letter calling the claim unfounded. Daniel McKie says he did not write the post.

Anakin McKie was murdered last month in Tehachapi. The coroner's office says an autopsy revealed the 4-month-old died from blunt force trauma.

Daniel McKie is charged with first-degree murder and assault of a child under 8 resulting in death.

Though the child and the accused share the same last name, family members say the two are not biologically related.

Daniel McKie pleaded not guilty to the charges Monday.
