Bakersfield man suspected of online sex crimes in Oregon

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man from Bakersfield is behind bars after an Oregon police department arrested him for being suspected of online sex crimes.
According to Myrtle Creek police -- they were conducting investigations into online sex crimes.
On March 10, police say they found 28-year-old Timothy Scott Bernhardt attempting to arrange meetings with a teen girl from Myrtle Creek.
Officers say he attempted to have the girl take a bus to Bakersfield and come live with him.
Myrtle Creek police say he sent her inappropriate photos and videos of himself.
He was waiting for her at the bus stop when police arrested him and booked him into Kern County jail. Bernhardt is scheduled to appear in court Friday.
