BPD: Man wanted for trying to cash stolen check at Kern Schools Federal Credit Union

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for help locating a man wanted for allegedly burglarizing and attempting to forge a check at the Kern Schools Federal Credit Union in the 4500 block of Ming Avenue.

Derek Haley, 29, attempted to cash a stolen check during the day on March 2, police said. 

Haley is known to frequent the Shafter and Bakersfield areas, police said.
