BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Kern County coroner has released the name of the man stabbed to death at a home in Southeast Bakersfield last week.
Deputies found 52-year-old Brian Keith Bland of Bakersfield suffering from stab wounds at a home in the 6100 block of Sugarloaf Lane Friday morning.
He was taken to Kern Medical where he later died of his wounds.
Investigators say there were at least four people in the home when the stabbing happened, including the victim, his ex-girlfriend and her current boyfriend.
Deputies say the boyfriend took off after the stabbing. They also say they want to question one other individual who was there.
Deputies have not named any suspects and no arrests have been made.
