County search and rescue recovers two bodies Sunday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Search and rescue pulled the body of a 60-year-old Los Angeles man from the lake at Hart Park Sunday morning. 

Sheriff's officials said the man, whose identity hasn't been released, was swimming in the lake Saturday with family. When they returned to shore they noticed he wasn't with them. 

Crews searched for him until sunset Saturday. They resumed the search Sunday and found his body around 11 a.m..

Search and rescue also recovered an 18-year-old man's body Sunday from Isabella Lake. Sheriff's officials said his body was found in an area where the river flows into the lake. 

It's not yet known where he drowned. Crews have been looking for a man who was last seen in the river July 1 -- upstream from Isabella Lake near the Kern and Tulare County line, just north of Kernville.
