CSUB hosts e-waste and paper shredding drive Saturday

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - You have a chance to help the environment while getting rid of some unwanted items from your home this weekend at Cal State Bakersfield.

Cal State Bakersfield is hosting an e-waste and paper shredding drive Saturday 

Between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, you can drop off unwanted electronics like computers, cellphones, printers, monitors and household appliances. Light bulbs, fluorescent bulbs and alkaline batteries will not be accepted, however.

Residents can also have paper shredded for free.  

CSUB's Associated Students, Inc. Partnered with Alianza Recycling and Metro Shredding to host the event.

You can enter the campus by turning onto Southwest Drive off Camino Media.
