KCSO investigating homicide in Rosamond

KCSO: Male victim found with multiple gunshot wounds

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Kern County Sheriff's Office investigators are at two crime scenes following the shooting and killing of a male in Rosamond Tuesday evening.

Lt. Bill Smallwood with the sheriff's office said deputies received a call about a person being shot at by someone in a vehicle in the 3300 block of 15th Street West at about 5:30 p.m.

Deputies arrived to find a person, only described as a male, suffering multiple gunshot wounds in the 3400 block of 15th Street West. The victim was transported to Antelope Valley Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim's identity will be released by the Kern County Coroner's Office.

KCSO does not have suspect description.
