Four injured, including infant, after hit-and-run on Interstate 5 at Old River Road

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The CHP is reporting major injuries after a vehicle rolled off the southbound side of Interstate 5 near Old River Road and caught fire.

CHP reports another vehicle, possibly a semi truck, may have cut the car off, leading to the crash.

Four people were transported to the hospital; one with major injuries, two with moderate injuries and an infant, whose condition is unknown.

There's currently heavy activity on the shoulder near the crash, but no lanes are currently blocked.
