Officials: Four pounds of drugs and over eight thousand dollars in cash seized in drug bust

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man was arrested for possessing methamphetamine, cocaine and marijuana with plans to sell the drugs, officials said.

Detectives executed a search warrant in the 3900 block of Vance Avenue and found approximately 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, a half a pound of cocaine, almost two pounds of marijuana, and over eight thousand dollars in cash.

Pedro Paredez, 31, was booked in to the Kern County Central Receiving Facility.

The California Multijurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team (CALMMET) and the Southern Tri-County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force made the bust.
