Probation: Sex offender on the loose

The Kern County Probation Department says Theodore Steele, 22 was released from jail with a court order to report to his probation officer and register as a sex offender within 5 days of release. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
BAKERSFIELD, CA -- Officials with the probation department say Theodore Steele is on felony probation and is required to register as a sex offender within 5 days and report to his probation officer.   Steele failed to do both and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Steele is known to frequent the Valley Plaza, the Southwest Bus Terminal, the Downtown Bus Terminal, and the Oildale area.

Theodore Steele, who also goes by “Teddy”, is a 22-year-old, white male, approximately 5’11”, 140 lbs, green eyes, with light brown hair which may be shaved at this time.
