A special announcement was made Saturday afternoon, in honor of Nathan Garcia.
Garcia passed away from brain cancer the day after his 13th birthday in December.
Nathan's wish was to collect toys for his birthday, to be donated to other children who are either ill, or less fortunate.
Tim Terrio, President of Terrio Physical Therapy and Fitness, surprised Nathan's parents Saturday with the 'Nathan Garcia Childhood Cancer Foundation'.
"I didn't tell the parents until today, I invited them out here to the football game. All the players were wearing gold stickers for Childhood Cancer Month and then we surprised them at the end. They had their foundation, that was their wish," said Terrio.
"I know that something good has to come out of what happened to him and it's been very hard but I know we're making him proud by doing this," said Jessica Garcia, Nathan's mom.
Last year, thousands of toys were collected and distributed all over California in memory of Nathan.
