Two Bakersfield teenagers, including a local football star, were shot at a party in east Bakersfield.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning at a large house party in the 2200 block of Edwards Avenue.
During their investigation, deputies learned two teens had been shot and were at Kern Medical Center.
18-year-old Kamari Cotton-Moya, the quarterback for Ridgeview High School, was shot in the upper body and 18-year-old Kolin Jones was shot in the face and shoulder.
Deputies say both have non-life threatening injuries.
Ridgeview's football coach, Dennis Manning, told 17 News Cotton-Moya was home and fine.
Jones wrote on his Twitter, "Everyone, I'm fine, thanks for being concerned."
