UPDATE: Man accused of beating sisters, mom pleads not guilty to charges

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A Bakersfield man accused of beating his mother and two sisters inside a Southwest Bakersfield home, pleaded not guilty to charges Wednesday afternoon. 

Victor Tadros, 33, is facing several charges including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, elderly abuse and false imprisonment.

Tadros held his mother and two adult sisters against their will in a domestic violence attack on Vista Del Rancho Drive over the weekend, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.

Tadros struck one of his sisters and mother in the head with a hammer and stabbed his other sister several times, police said. 

All three women were transported to a local hospital and are expected to survive.

Tadros was taken away in an ambulance and later booked into jail.
