5 arrests made after stabbing in Lamont

Sheriff's deputies say a man was attacked in the 10000 block of Main Street around 7:30 Sunday night.
LAMONT, CA- Five suspects are in custody in connection to a stabbing in Lamont Sunday night.

Sheriff's deputies said a man was attacked in the 10000 block of Main Street around 7:30 p.m.

Deputies said he is hospitalized this morning with multiple stab wounds.  A second man was reportedly beaten during the same incident by at least four men.

The vehicle used by the suspects was later located in the 8900 block of Jeffrey Street.

That led to the arrest of four people: Dennis Ruth, 22, Eddie Catalan, 24, Daniel Catalan, 20, and Roberto Rodriguez, 20.

They've been booked on numerous charges including attempted murder and gang-related violence.

 A fifth man was taken into custody on an outstanding arrest warrant.
