TUPMAN, Calif. - A Taft man was arrested and charged with arson after fire officials said the fire destroyed a home and damaged a church and car in Tupman.
Kern County Fire Department Arson Investigators arrested Raymond Mosier on Thursday for four counts of arson, according to Kern County Fire Department.
Firefighters said they got the call at 1:30 a.m. on August 7 for a report of fire. When KCFD arrived, they said a house was fully involved in flames.
The fire resulted in the destruction of a home, as well as a damaged church and vehicle, according to fire officials.
Arson Investigators were assisted by the Kern County Sheriff's Department and Taft Police Department.
