Woman accused of husband's murder to stand trial

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A woman accused in her husband's murder in 2014 will stand trial.  A judge found sufficient evidence Wednesday in the case of Sabrina Limon.

Limon is charged with conspiring with her former lover Jonathan Hearn, to kill her husband Robert Limon.

During a preliminary hearing Wednesday, Hearn read a Valentine's Day letter from Sabrina where she told him he has given her a new outlook on life.

Hearn claims Sabrina Limon manipulated him throughout the relationship and he went from being a conservative Christian to a killer because of his lust for her.  Hearn said that Sabrina Limon wanted her husband dead before a lake trip she had planned with him and some friends.

He told the court that before he pulled the trigger that day, he said a prayer.  After the shooting, Hearn says he was initially relieved to have it over with, but then the guilt started to build.

Sabrina Limon is due back in court February 21.  That's when a judge is expected to set a trial date.
