Woman killed in overnight hit-and-run near Frazier Park Mountain Road

FORT TEJON, Calif. - A woman died last night after being struck by a vehicle on Frazier Mountain Park Road, and California Highway Patrol is looking for the driver of the vehicle who hit her.
 
According to officials, the woman, who was not driving in a vehicle, was hit at 1:30 a.m. and the driver of the vehicle that hit her continued driving westbound. 
     
The woman, who was in her 20's, died at the scene, according to CHP. 
 
CHP officers are looking for the suspect. 
 
"We do have one vehicle involved, a possible green box type vehicle," CHP Fort Tejon Officer, Patrick Etchebarne said. "A possible Kia, but they continued westbound on Frazier Mountain Park Road."
