What travels by rail in Kern?

The Kern County Rail Study, Phase II came up with a list of companies that use rail through Kern County. We took it a step further to find out what products these companies ship and receive.
In 2012 the Kern Council of Governments commissioned a study of rail in Kern County to show residents what travels by train locally.

Their Kern County Rail Study, Phase II came up with a list of companies that use the rail, but keep in mind these are private industries so all of this was voluntary.

We took it a step further to find out what products these companies ship and receive. This information is based on online searches and calls to companies.
